CHO is located 8 miles north of the City of Charlottesville, 1 mile west of Route 29 on Airport Road. Daily and hourly parking lots are conveniently located to make ease of use a given at the Airport.
About Us
The Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO) is a non-hub, commercial service airport offering one-stop international and domestic destinations, as well as daily non-stop flights around the U.S. We are served by Delta, United Express and American Airlines offering over 50 daily non-stop flights to and from Charlotte, Philadelphia, New York/LaGuardia, Washington/Dulles, Atlanta, and Chicago. Service was initiated at the Airport by Piedmont Airlines in 1955. Since then, the facility has grown to include a 60,000 sq. ft. terminal facility with modern customer amenities offering on-site rental cars, ground transportation, and food service. General aviation facilities include an executive terminal offering a full-service fixed base operation, flight school, and aircraft charter firms.
