Follow Main Street through historic and charming Culpeper Downtown, turn on East Davis as you pass the best local retail shops and restaurants along the way, seeking out the melodic sounds of lively music coming from the one and only 3rd Thursday Summer Concert Series! Brought to you by nonprofit Main Street Program, Culpeper Renaissance, Inc. (CRI) and celebrating its 22nd year in 2025, the 3rd Thursday Summer Concert Series rolls in to the Depot District on May 15th , from 5pm to 9pm! Serving as one of CRI’s biggest annual fundraisers, the 3rd Thursday Summer Concerts are the best place to enjoy live outdoor music in Culpeper Downtown, gather with community members, dance like no one is watching, visit must-see sponsor booths, make good use and great memories at the Kid Central kid’s corner, taste delicious food trucks and adult refreshments, plus so much more!
This year’s series covers the most popular music genres, making sure everyone will be up out of their chairs before the night ends! May 15th, the 3rd Thursday Summer Concert Series kicks off, taking you back to its roots with award winning beach music brought to you by The Catalinas Band, the Carolinas premier beach music band since 1957! Bringing a tropical vibe, with an energetic performance and playing hits we all know and love, this is the place to see and be seen in Culpeper Downtown! Embrace the incoming summer days, and rock your favorite Hawaiian or beach themed top on May 15th and you could even go home with a little cash in your pocket!
June 19th, the 3rd Thursday Summer Concert Series presents the Déja Grüv Band! Get up, get down and spread that funk all around as Déja Grüv delivers an unforgettable and dynamic performance with their 14-piece band! Covering timeless classics from soul, pop, rhythm & blues, Motown and even country, their diversity in musical genres are sure to impress, guaranteeing a good time is had by all!
July 17th you are not in a time warp, Tëaze, Richmond’s 100% hair metal band, is like totally back by popular demand! Dust off the spandex, leather and lace, and dress to impress, as Tëaze is killing more than just an air guitar! Ride the crazy train and turn up the radio because Tëaze is going to leave you begging for more! The 80s are back baby, only at 3rd Thursday!
August 21st don your best cowboy hat and boot scoot and boogie your way to Culpeper Downtown as we welcome The Nashville Nights Band! Playing authentic 90s country music with upbeat rhythms, these talented musicians will have you thinking you have been transported to Broadway! Plus, look forward to the return of Karen’s Line Dancing, starting at 7pm, learn how to shuffle, turn and stomp like you meant it!
Lawn chairs encouraged, but please no pets or coolers. Socialize with friends and neighbors, while enjoying delicious treats, snacks or even dinner from food trucks, Happy Family Ranch, Kona Ice, Law Dawgs Hotdogs, Garam Masala, Zandra’s Taqueria, and Moo Thru Mobile in May and June with Frosty Softy in attendance July and August. Plus, adult beverages for purchase, including beer, cider and wine.
Get the kids outside and spend time in the Kid Central kid’s corner! With complimentary face painting by Sandy’s, bouncing balls, hula hoops and more, these concerts are fun for all ages. What’s even more fun? If under 21, admission is free!

2025 3rd Thursday single concert tickets are just $10, or for a limited time, pick up a $20 season pass! That’s four concerts for the price of two! Grab your tickets early, especially if snagging a season pass as they are only discounted Friday, April 11th through Thursday, May 15th! Tickets can be purchased in advance at local outlets, Zandra’s Taqueria, Oak View National Bank-Culpeper, and the Museum of Culpeper History. Tickets are also available at the entry gates.
