The Town of Culpeper Public Works Department has scheduled a contractor to mill and overlay Main Street at two locations. The first location is at the intersection of Davis Street and the second location is at the Mountain Run Bridge. The contractor will begin the operation on Wednesday night, October 15th, and is projected to complete the operation on Thursday night, October 16th.

Weather permitting, the hours of operation will be from 8:00 PM until 5:00 AM. A safety work zone will require intermittent lane closures on Main Street.

Motorists should expect delays and take alternate routes if possible and are asked to pay attention to changing conditions within the work zone.
